Three New Contracts For Polyeco Gulf

During the last three months Polyeco Gulf, the Omani branch of Polyeco Group, has been awarded 3 new contracts. Vale Oman, Consolidated Contractors Company and Oman Gas Company trusted us with contracts, for the Integrated Hazardous Waste Management of their premises.

Polyeco Gulf will provide services such as:

  • Packaging of different hazardous waste streams in UN approved containers
  • Labelling of the waste in accordance with ADR and IMDG codes
  • Issuance of transboundary licenses for the export of the waste to Europe
  • Sea transportation
  • Final disposal

Furthermore to our new contracts, over the last three months, Polyeco Gulf has conducted a number of high standard services to our existing clients.

 

Oman Refineries Company

We have repacked in UN approved media more than 700 tons of various hazardous waste streams such as: hazardous adsorbents, spent catalysts, batteries and other hazardous residues generated from ORPIC operations in both of their refineries in Sohar and Muscat.

Oman LNG

We have repacked in UN approved media more than 1.300 tons of 19 different hazardous waste streams such as: hazardous adsorbents, spent catalysts, hazardous chemicals,
contaminated gravel & soil and many other generated from OLNG operations in Sur. In addition, we have until now exported, 640tn of different hazardous waste streams in licensed hazardous waste facilities in EU, in compliance with Basel Convention specifications and EU Regulations. This project has been characterized from OLNG as a historical removal of hazardous waste.

Public Authority of Electricity and Water of Oman

We repacked in UN approved media 185 tons of 8 different hazardous waste streams such as: hazardous chemicals and contaminated gravel & soil generated from PAEW operations in Oman. We have until now exported 77tn of different hazardous chemicals in licensed hazardous waste facilities in EU, in compliance with Basel Convention specifications and EU Regulations.

Jotun Paints

We repacked in UN approved media 39 tons of hazardous paint waste generated from Jotun factory in Rusail Industry Area, Muscat.
